Building a small business is a creative act. We must be resourceful, inventive, and adaptive. I think of small businesses, and the communities they foster, as tapestries of a sort. We weave in our efforts, skills, and connections. We attempt to create something strong and enduring. There are so many lessons learned along the way that become stories we will never forget. Those stories become a part of our being, they shape us at a personal level. While it may be business, small business is also personal.
